In this difficult time, I know that many of us have had to self-isolate, or are already restricted with health or mobility issues, so I would like to call upon Unit Commanding Officers and Senior Staff to endeavour to make sure we at least attempt to offer our members something to distract them from the ever-growing situation we find ourselves in.
And to our other ranks, our members who are the lifeblood of the Fleet – I urge you to get involved any way you can: discuss, chat, engage with us all, let’s get through this together with the bare minimum casualties.
Talk to your Commanding Officer about activities you can assist in, take part in or suggest.
Let’s prove that it takes more than a pandemic to slow the Home Fleet Down…

Academy Class of 2402: Gamma Season Graduates
Since the return to active service for Starfleet Academy and it being in new hands during it's rebuild, we're pleased to announce the first class under the new term. As you may be aware, new members to SFC are inducted on a "Cadet Term" to find out more about us, establish their preferred level of involvement and get to know the fleet. Every quarter we'll be putting a division of Quadrant 2 under the spotlight as we Tour The Galaxy with the best and brightest of the fleet. And to start off on a high, we thought we'd begin with one of our fastest developing groups in the past decade; the USS Tesla! The first unit to launch following our mass fleet reorganisation a decade ago, the USS Tesla was first proposed as an idea in passing conversation and soon blossomed into one of the leading groups in both Q2 and in Scotland. Since the 50th anniversary of SFC as a whole, we've been on a mission to revitalise and update several elements of Quadrant 2, working on improving services and experience fleet wide for all members. Following some background changes and a lot of work in the Alpha Quarter behind the scenes, we're moving into the next phase with some more visibility in whats coming next! As we enter 2025 (or... 2402...?) there's no rest for the crew of the Tesla as the team are already back in action making a return to two of the biggest events in Scotland!
