Building the look of the Star Trek Universe isn't easy. Following a template made by Mat Jeffries, every artist who joins the universe builds on that original work. For one artist, his mission wasn't just to build on what came before, but completely reinvent it all with a new vision that would end up becoming one of the most iconic pieces of Star Trek; The Enterprise-D bridge. Being a key element in the Sstar Trek lore from the very beginning, Vulcan mythology can often seem distorted by simplicity. Seen as a stoney emotionless species, their society is built on logic and science in helping them understand and navigate through the complexities of the universe. Over the years the Star Trek Universe has shown one part of it's original cast to be thee glue that holds it all together.
