Responsible for re-shaping Starfleets style, his work and influence was a vital parts of shaping the look of an entire era. Blackman's introduction to the Star Trek Universe had an awkward start. As the media hype is starting to ramp up for Academy's debut, Strange New Worlds is adding the finishing touches and along with cast such as Anson Mount saying goodbye to their Enterprise, we have some new names announced to have joined for the final season. Acting as a prequel to the original series, Strange New Worlds has helped to expand legacy characters having brought over Ethan Peck's younger and less refined version of Spock, the first career steps of Nyota Uhura, a completely revamped Christine Chapel and smaller parts – such as Dr M'BEnga, Samuel Kirk and T'Pring among others – being revived for the new era. [Ships of the Line] The Galaxy Class

The peak of mid-24th century design, the Galaxy Class was one of the fleet's most iconic capitol ships that inspired a whole new generation of Starfleet. Built for longevity, the Galaxy was conceived as a deep space exploration cruiser that was not only an adaptable megastructure of science and research, but one that was entirely self sustainable whilst giving it's crew all the creature comforts they need for years, or even decades, without having to turn back home. The key to the Galaxy Class' success was in large part down to it's modular design. Voyager's first episode set the mission to get the lost ship back to Earth. In the serie's final episode, it would be somewhat of a let down if they just left the crew in the middle of nowhere. Even then the ending seemed like an obvious one and with it all being telegraphed 170 episodes before, the fun wasn't about if they got home, but how... When Star Trek Picard premiered in 2020, one of its brightest revelations was Isa Briones. New to the franchise, Briones was a core part of the story who's first season came in two parts; Dahj, who was swiftly killed off in the first episode revealing her synthetic origins as one half of a pair, giving us her second and most vital character, Soji.
