Project Faraday

One of the most common questions within SFC membership is all about command; to the point we compile a list of interested potential CO’s on application to the club. Though some can feel hesitant to begin when they’re uncertain of what region might benefit or fit the criteria for members to take command of a new start-up.
Of the key areas identified for interest in regular meetups and command enquiries has been within the Greater London area and as we celebrate 60 years of Star Trek, we’re also looking to celebrate a new successor to lead the fleet in the nations capital.
Now entering Phase One, we’re formally opening an interest list from both members who’d look to transfer to a new opportunity and develop the starting point of a London-based unit.
Project Faraday is open to all members (and prospective members!) within the Greater London area.

INTEREST LIST
If you’re interested in being part of a new active unit in the Greater London area, please complete the sign up form to put your name forward and stay up to date on it’s development.
Project Faraday is currently entering Phase One. During this early stage we’ll be using the interest list to assess the scale, scope and feasibility of the Project and gauging the interest in both current members who are seeking to transfer to build a new Active Unit within the selected area.
Once we have ensured a solid base of interest, we’ll begin Phase 2 of assessing structure, leadership and location balance with all interested parties. Project updates will be issued primarily in email and the Project Faraday page. Methods of communication may change based on feedback from prospective group members.
Please note: Traditional Captains / New Unit applications will still be available an accepted throughout this time.
