Discovery & Sonequa Martin-Green Take Home Saturn Awards!

The 44th annual Saturn Awards were presented this week with Discovery entering with five nominations and leaving with two big wins! Discovery has brought a lot of success for CBS's new All Access Service with subscriptions rising and the show coming out on top of streaming viewership projections throughout (and in the weeks after!) the shows run. Matching the success of the show, The Saturn Awards gave a nod of recognition with Discovery winning the award for Best New Media Television series. Meet the Tesla crew at Glenrothes Comic Con!

This coming weekend the crew of the USS Tesla will be in action at Glenrothes Comic Con. Ships captain Lt Fraser Stevenson will be on hand alongside several of his crew as part of the event. The Tesla crew will be on hand to talk about their plans as a unit, upcoming events and to welcome new members to Quadrant 2. The team will also have a selection of replica props and other goods on display from Horgons to Gorn to pose with! Tesla will be based in Hall B alongside other fan attractions with Hall A hosting the trade hall and guests including event host and popular comic book artist Gary Erskine. After a dramatic and exciting season, Discovery's first season is finally coming to a close. The season finale, "Will You Take My Hand", is available on Netflix in the UK and internationally now! With this series running on Netflix, allowing fans to watch at will, we'll be ensuring we remain spoiler free across all our online outlets and invite all members to take part in our Discovery Spoilers & Discussions group. Shakedown Cruise: USS Tesla

Attention all hands! When SFC Quadrant 2 underwent a massive overhaul in recent years, a decision was made to pull back all members to two large units to help develop and grow stronger local connections and restart localised units when the time was right. After some developments over the past few months, and the unbridled enthusiasm of several members North of the border, I am pleased to say that the time is right. As such, on behalf of the Admiralty Board, it gives me great pleasure to announce the first Starfleet vessel to launch since the massive fleet wide reorginisation; the USS Tesla. Repurposed for new mission of peace and adventure, the Tesla is now officially undertaking her shakedown cruise to represent Scotland in Quadrant 2.
