First Teaser for New Star Trek Series

As part of an event for advertisers in New York, CBS unleashed a short teaser as their big boss Les Moonves debuted what looks to be the new logo for the the TV branch of Star Trek. It's not much, but it's enough to keep us excited! Details from the new show are yet to be finalised under showrunner Bryan Fuller and executive producer Alex Kurtzman. The still to be titled show will make it's premiere on CBS Television in January 2017 in the US with the rest of the series available weekly on CBS All Access. Something Old, Something New: Pegg gives insight into Beyond

Since JJ Abrahms first brought the new trek to screen, the franchise has aimed to attract the attention of as many new fans as it has dedicated Trekkies. We all have out favourite movies, the one that hooked us and brought us all in. For many in the 80's Khan's wrath opened the door to a new generation of fans while the 90's had First Contact's time travelling shenanigans as a introduction to all things Starfleet. Rod Roddenberry Interview: New Show, Fan Films & More!

In a surprise announcement earlier this year, Rod Roddenberry was announced as part of the production team for the new Star Trek series coming in 2017 and earlier this month the son of Trek creator Gene Roddenury and heir to Roddenberry Entertainment spoke to Trekzone to discuss the new series, controversial Axanar lawsuit and other topics including Trek's new adventure in 2017. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_L6yKDlHag "I know very little about the direction. Bryan Fuller to Co Produce 2017 series

After the news broke that Alex Kurtzman's Secret Hideout Productions would be heading up an all new Star Trek series we've been left in the dark while the new team is assembled to bring us back to the final frontier.
