After the news that Rainn Wilson would be appearing in Discovery as the legendary Harry Mudd, there's more casting news to come. In a recent interview, Wendy Crewson announced that she'll be taking up the role of an Admiral on Star Trek Discovery! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5SzUvfuqXB0 "I'm gonna be the Starfleet Admiral, so that means I'm the real big boss!" Rainn Wilson joins Star Trek Discovery as Harry Mudd!

Announced by StarTrek.com this evening, emmy award nominee Rainn Wilson will join the show taking on the iconic role of Harcourt Fenton Mudd! Mudd was introduced in the original series as a charismatic con man. Mudd went on to star in further episodes of the original series as well as the animated series, quickly becoming one of the shows most loved characters thanks to the performance of Roger C. Carmel! Taking on the iconic role, Wilson is best known for his uptight and bizarre character Dwight Schrute in the American version of The Office and starred alongside Tim Allen inGalaxy Quest. “I’ve seen a little bit of it, and I’m very excited.” CEO of CBS offers insight into Discovery’s Launch Date

After some delay the team behind Discovery excited us all with a sneak peek of the show's first week of production, but the delay to begin filming caused another delay to the shows release, leaving us to question when we'll see Discovery. While actor Doug Jones, who will portray an all-new alien science officer called Saru, speculated that the show could potentially launch during the franchises anniversary month in September, CBS executives were cautious about giving another solid release date with their philosophy boiling down to "it's done when it's done", emphasising that they want to get it right first time and not rush any of the vital post production work. Star Trek Online Launches Agents of Yesterday on Console!

Late last year players of Star Trek Online on the original PC version were invited to take part in a special anniversary event, Agents of Yesterday, where the player was placed back in the 23rd century to find themselves caught up in the ongoing Temporal Cold War. As part of STO's anniversay celebrations, the Agents of Yesterday expansion is now available on XBox One and PS4 as Agents is released onto console.
