[Q2&A] Fleet Development.

Every Star Trek fans dreams of being the captain of their own Starship and within Q2's network, everyone within the fleet has their chance. Sure, we can't give you a real starship, and you likely won't have to deal with long haul trips to the Hromi Cluster to pick up a gas sample, or deal with random attacks from the Tzenkethi. You don't even get a real chair. But you can be part of the leadership within the club and join the many who have helped shape our direction. Unit's are, and always will be, the core of SFC. In 2374 the crew of Voyager, stranded in the Delta Quadrant were given a life line; an advanced Starship complete with slipstream drive that would reduce the time of their journey back to Earth form decades to months. Appearing alongside an introduction form Starfleet, the Dauntless appeared to be the next step of Starship evolution. Until they realised it was all a lie – an alien ship dressed up as a Federation ship in a revenge plot that would have led the all to their deaths. Rising to fame through the US version off The Office, Rainn Wilson's ability to lean into the weird and quirky was a perfect fit for paper salesman and beet farmer Dwight Schrute. [Q2&A] Talking Ship.

Since the dawn of time, well, around 1974, SFC's overall presentation as a fleet has been fairly simple and straight forward. The Fleet is the overall structure, the Administration are the Admirals and the heart of it all – our individual groups and regions – are the Starships, each with their own Captain, command crew and optional know it all teenage genius. All units within Q2 base themselves on the ships of the line we've seen over the decades on TV, from the original Enterprise right through to, well, the new original Enterprise.
