Star Trek Star Anton Yelchin Sadly Passes Aged 27

We're sadenned to hear the news of Anton Yelchin who passed away early Sunday morning in a fatal traffic collision at his home. From Variety: According to TMZ, which first reported the news, he was pinned by his own car at his San Fernando Valley home. Friends apparently became concerned when Yelchin did not show up for a rehearsal. According to the report, they found him at his home pinned between his car and a brick mailbox. Police reportedly told TMZ that the engine was still running when he was found, and that his car was in neutral. It’s not clear what caused the accident. First Teaser for New Star Trek Series

As part of an event for advertisers in New York, CBS unleashed a short teaser as their big boss Les Moonves debuted what looks to be the new logo for the the TV branch of Star Trek. It's not much, but it's enough to keep us excited! Details from the new show are yet to be finalised under showrunner Bryan Fuller and executive producer Alex Kurtzman. The still to be titled show will make it's premiere on CBS Television in January 2017 in the US with the rest of the series available weekly on CBS All Access.
