Attention all hands!
When SFC Quadrant 2 underwent a massive overhaul in recent years, a decision was made to pull back all members to two large units to help develop and grow stronger local connections and restart localised units when the time was right.
After some developments over the past few months, and the unbridled enthusiasm of several members North of the border, I am pleased to say that the time is right.
As such, on behalf of the Admiralty Board, it gives me great pleasure to announce the first Starfleet vessel to launch since the massive fleet wide reorginisation; the USS Tesla. Repurposed for new mission of peace and adventure, the Tesla is now officially undertaking her shakedown cruise to represent Scotland in Quadrant 2.
Our Director of Operations Adm Mitchell sends his regards and the best of luck for a long and successful cruise and he – along with all of us – will be watching with interest!
We all look forward to hearing more from the Tesla in the coming weeks and months but for now, from all of us at the Admiralty Board, we wish you good luck and Godspeed!

Sixty Year Mission…
It's been a really weird year already for the world of Star Trek fans. We started 2026 with a new venture into a strange new future with Starfleet Academy. The most important asset within Q2 are the people who make it special. Recently several members had received recognition for their contributions to start an exciting year celebrating the 60 Year Mission! Promotions & Confirmations for Proxima & Kaga!
Now that 2025 is in the rear viewscreen, we can safely look back to what was a chaotic year both in and out of the Admin office. Admittedly things were busy behind the curtain and a few things fell off the radar. One of them being confirmations for new units.... When a new unit is brought into Q2, whether assimilated to the collective or built from scratch, each group goes through a 'shakedown' period and once that periods completed successfully, the ship is fully confirmed as part of SFC's structure. Traditionally a shakedown cruise is a building phase that lasts six months with goals to fulfill with new leaders and untested Captains looking for support and advice.
