Attention All Hands – Urgent Message from DOPS:
In this difficult time, I know that many of us have had to self-isolate, or are already restricted with health or mobility issues, so I would like to call upon Unit Commanding Officers and Senior Staff to endeavour to make sure we at least attempt to offer our members something to distract them from the ever-growing situation we find ourselves in.
And to our other ranks, our members who are the lifeblood of the Fleet – I urge you to get involved any way you can: discuss, chat, engage with us all, let’s get through this together with the bare minimum casualties.
Talk to your Commanding Officer about activities you can assist in, take part in or suggest.
Let’s prove that it takes more than a pandemic to slow the Home Fleet Down…

The Star Trek world may be celebrating the first year graduates of 3196, but in Q2 our Academy is pleased to roll out a new generation of officers completing their provisional terms for our 2403 Beta Quarter Graduates!As you may be aware, new members to SFC are inducted on a "Cadet Term" to find out more about us, establish their preferred level of involvement and get to know the fleet. It's almost tradition now for Tesla to host away teams to start the year, and this year is no different! After starting their year at Capital Sci Fi in Edinburgh, the crew of the Tesla are beaming down once again to Power Con in Glasgow this weekend! Promotions & Confirmations for Proxima & Kaga!
Now that 2025 is in the rear viewscreen, we can safely look back to what was a chaotic year both in and out of the Admin office. Admittedly things were busy behind the curtain and a few things fell off the radar. One of them being confirmations for new units.... When a new unit is brought into Q2, whether assimilated to the collective or built from scratch, each group goes through a 'shakedown' period and once that periods completed successfully, the ship is fully confirmed as part of SFC's structure. Traditionally a shakedown cruise is a building phase that lasts six months with goals to fulfill with new leaders and untested Captains looking for support and advice. USS TESLA Tesla are back in action this weekend as Fan Frontiers is back in Glasgow for another weekend event! Having attended the event since it's inception as Acme Comic Con, Captain Fraz and the crew have become a regular force showcasing a vast array of Trek memorabilia, prop replica's and the occasional skant in the fan zone!
