It’s almost tradition now for Tesla to host away teams to start the year, and this year is no different! After starting their year at Capital Sci Fi in Edinburgh, the crew of the Tesla are beaming down once again to Power Con in Glasgow this weekend!
Hosted by Fan Frontiers, Power Con has Power has been one of the core places to meet the crew of the Tesla since it’s origins as Acme Comic Con and have become a firm part of the diverse and welcoming fan centric communities hosting everything from Rebel Legions to Ghostbusters! With the guest line up this year including Doctor Who’s Peter Davidson, the gaming focused event is set to host Balders Gate stars Amelia Tyler and Tom Downie, as well as Kirsty Rider from the award winning Expedition 33 and more!
Fan Frontier’s Power Con is open on Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th of MArch as Glasgow’s SEC. You can find out more and grab your tickets at the Power Website or TicketMaster.

Building an eclectic career with over sixty years in film, television, music and theatre, Sally Kellerman is fondly remembered by a whole generation as the original Hotlips Houlihan in the film adaption of MASH. Her part in the world of Star Trek helped introduce the world to the little sci fi show that began it's own franchise of entertainment. Starting her acting career in the late 50's after turning down a contract with Verve Records, Kellerman was a familiar face on television by the time Star Trek came around. With appearances on Bonanza, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour and the Twilight Zone among others, Kellerman was able to gain a wide range of experience that helped establish an adaptability that would carry her career forward in playing anything from a glamorous and sophisticated character, to intense and eccentric parts. Time has certainly flown by as Strange New Worlds penultimate season is just days away. Things have been a little guarded since the show was announced to be ending with a shortened 5th season, but it gave the production plenty of warning to wrap things up and bring an end to the original Captain and his crew! To say it’s been a sad few weeks for Q2 would be an understatement. There have been fewer constants than Mark Mitchell within the past, Gods knows how many years. The rulebooks? Thats him. Academy? Thats all Mark. Sure, things got updated and edited over the years, but he’s been the backbone of the fleet for as long as I remember. Mainly as I remember him making my Academy exam when I joined the fleet on a whim. It’s because of people like Mark that I stayed. The fleet has always been the people. And he was one of the best people.
