Throughout the year we've been taking on a lot of feedback on our Academy program and listening closely to what members old and new had to say on the process. After some deep reflection on how the system operates, as well as mirroring up it's purpose in the current fan world, we've made a few changes... For decades Starfleet Academy has been one of the most unique introductions to the club and how we mirror the idea of following a Starfleet structure for our membership rewards. Meet The Fleet at Destination Star Trek!

The only official Star Trek convention in the UK is back in just a matter of days as the NEC once again hosts the stars of Trek at the NEC in Birmingham for Destination Star Trek! Licensed by CBS, DST has become the biggest event on the UK Trek calendar with special guests, panels, prop displays and a whole lot more. This years event has more than a few big names to meet including recently announced Patrick Stewart and Picard/Next Generation c-star Brent Spiner; the new Enterprise crew, Ethan Peck and Anson Mount; Discovery stars Anthony Rapp & Wilson Cruz and many more from all eras of Trek including Michelle Forbes, Denise Crosby, David Warner, JG Hertler & Alive Eve just to name a few! Invictus: New Unit Launches in the North East

After several months of planning from it's new Commanding Officer, we're pleased to announce that Quadrant 2's newest unit officially launches as of today! Captained by Justine Torrance, the Invictus is launching in the North East and has already seen several transfers join its founding crew! Entering their shakedown Voyage, we're thrilled to see the new start up in one of the busiest areas within the UK and are excited to see where the unit goes with such a fine crew and strong leadership in Justine! The North East has had a long and storied history within the fleet and has historically been one of the busiest area's with some of the finest crews. With the summer upon us, it's time for one of the busiest con seaons of the year - and SFCQ2 members across the fleet are ready to zip up their pocketless uniforms and fly the Starfleet flag! Following their appearance at Glenrothes comic Con last year, the crew of the USS Tesla were back in action at this years new event led by BGCP and Fife-based comic book artist Gary Erskine! The team were in action to talk Trek, show off a selection or classic collectables and replica's and, to anyone lucky enough to ask, talk about their current project which is set to debut when complete later this year! Joining SFC can sometimes be a whirlwind as you'll be processed by our Administration, passed oer to Academy, introduced to your CO and meet other members through Europa or other means. Sometimes it can be tricky getting to grips with who's who within the fleet administration. This week we're shining a spotlight on our HQ staff to introduce the team to new and potential members, or just as a refresher course for those who have been on the sidelines during our fleet wide shakeup over the past few years.
