Attention all hands – and potential hands! The Admin office for SFCQ2 will be closed temporarily between the 7th-18th November due to an impromptu Admirals holiday!
Following the major site upgrade recently, Admin will be taking a short break from regular duties to attend to urgent personal matters. From mid-day January 6th the Admin office will be wrapping up ahead of departure on the 7th. As all incoming membership applications are handled director by the Director of Fleet Administration, we will be accepting applications but please be aware that processing will be paused until return on the weekend of January 18th. At present this is an estimate date and may be extended.
For current active members, there’ll be no change in operations and no effect on any individual Fleet or Unit Operations. Any outstanding Administrative or Operations actions will be completed upon return, and any ongoing projects will still go ahead.
Lines of communication will be open for ongoing projects, however we’ll have extremely limited access to Admin email. Whatsapp and Messenger Enquiries will be answered, though delays are expected.
While we expect to be back open on time, any delays to the DoFA office return will be posted to our Facebook page.
Summary:
- New Membership processing will be on hold until the weekend of 18-19th of January at the earliest.
- Updates or changes to Active Memberships including change of details or commendations will be processed after the weekend of January 18-19th.
- Any pending actions for Fleet Operations are still on track.
- Admin is still available via social or whatsapp channels in the interim for urgent matters.

Starfleet Academy to end with with Season 2
Announced first by Variety, it's been announced that Starfleet Academy will end with Season 2. Having just launches in January with the first season finale receiving positive reactions, and it's second season now in post-production following the completion of filming, the announcement comes at an unsurprising time with Paramount undergoing new ownership under Skydance and more business shenanigans with further consolidation in the works with plans to absorb Warner Brothers into the mix. Now that 2025 is in the rear viewscreen, we can safely look back to what was a chaotic year both in and out of the Admin office. Admittedly things were busy behind the curtain and a few things fell off the radar. One of them being confirmations for new units.... When a new unit is brought into Q2, whether assimilated to the collective or built from scratch, each group goes through a 'shakedown' period and once that periods completed successfully, the ship is fully confirmed as part of SFC's structure.
